Very below average experience.
After collecting car, discovered small damage. Initial contact took over a week to reply. Told only person to speak with was off for 2 weeks.
Then spoken to with complete contempt and disrespect. Very disappointed.
Finally agreed to cover small cost to repair, however only reimbursed 50% of the cost.
To put icing on the cake, after bad noise, discovered the retaining clips on break pads installed backwards , grinding tabs off on the new disks.
You expect more from a Toyota dealership, but sadly not the reality.
You are much better off supporting a smaller mechanic who values you as a customer.
So far this has been a good place to have my Toyota (SC79) serviced. Friendly staff. They made a mistake during a previous service, took ownership of the issue and fixed it. Good, long may it last.
Service charges to replace 2 wiper blades which is less than half an hour job costs $30+. Overall service consultant is sort of in a hurry to sign on and off the services. Those before the Covid is more conscientious and attentive.
Buying a used car from Toyota has been a dream - honest & reliable, great service, staff are friendly. I wouldn’t say this often about used car dealers but I trust these guys and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used car.
I have recently bought a new car from Melville Toyota and had the privilege of dealing with Domenic Morfea. He has provided me with first class service and I have been totally satisfied with Domenic’s attention to detail. Any queries I had were attended to in a very efficient and professional manner.
'Never taking my car here again even if it's a warranty job!!!!!!' I took my Prado there to try and get a fix on a vibration rattle on the dash that they said should be an hour job. 4 hours later of waiting they still couldn't fix it!!! But here it gets worse! After they handed it back to me I noticed scratch / rub marks on the rear of it, dent at the front, broken plastic tabs on the wheel arches, missing mudguard on rear right, and the dash wasn't fitted back correctly!!! Not happy Melville Toyota Parts & Service!!!!!! 0 Stars! :(

they did not give wash or vaccum after full service. When I complained, they said we do basic wash/vaccum and if U want a proper one, go to the car detailers next door. bad experience this time.
I would go to smaller garage who charge much less than Melville Toyota!
They broke my car. Got my car serviced, Toyota Prado. Next day, coolant leaking and nearly destroyed the engine due to over heating. Turned it was a cracked radiator overflow pipe nozzle. Just thought it was bad luck. Now after doing plenty of research and talking to mechanics, it’s a common issue, when the mechanic leans on the radiator to change and check stuff, and usually cracks the brittle plastic pipe. If this happens to you after a service, get them to pay for the repairs-sue then if they don’t. I assumed it was bad luck and my fault and as a result got financially screwed over. Reading other reviews, it seems they also like to manufacture extra work. Go somewhere else.
